Welcome to The Bible Doctrine WIKI

The Bible is the most exciting book to ever exist!

It’s pages are filled with THE classic stories of unconditional love, self-sacrifice, passion for a cause, estranged and renewed relationships, wisdom beyond understanding, indisputable life lessons, and much more.

Yet it is by nature a book beyond stories – it is ALIVE!

That’s right – it is a living letter, carefully crafted, written, and delivered by God to us. The Bible then takes on a whole new character when we study it with the understanding that every word of it is the “breath of God.”

The Bible Doctrine WIKI was created out of a need to clearly define the fundamental doctrines of the Bible and explain them in a way that the average person can understand. The Bible tells us in James 1:22-25:

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The idea here is that the knowledge of Bible doctrine is good but of little value or no profit to an individual unless it's truths are put into practice and regularly exercised. It is my hope that as you read through these WIKIs that you will not only gain a better understanding of the concept, but also be greater motivated to fulfill your role in the kingdom of God.

Over the next few weeks, months (and years) I will be adding to and editing each page of this WIKI. I hope you will bookmark and visit often.

One more important note:

I am a Bible teacher and preacher. I believe the Bible to be the complete, authentic, thorough, perfect, and the indisputable Word of God. With that said, you must understand that I will never argue the validity of the Scriptures or their authenticity. It is the premise of every other belief I possess.

I hope and pray that The Bible Doctrine WIKI will be an encouragement to you in a special way. May God richly bless you!
